When things are getting you down tell yourself things aren't always what they seem. If you take yourself back to the day Jesus was crucified all you would have been able to see was the the death of our Lord and Savior, But things where not nessesarily as they appeared. Because God had a plan for you and me that day. It was not the end of our Savior's life but the beginning of our lives. You see three days later Jesus rose from the dead and sits with the father in heaven and is standing in intersession for us because of his supreme sacrifice. So when you pray, stand on the promises of Jesus Christ and believe He will answer. I have seen miracles and have had miracles happen in my life that can only be from God himself through his Son Jesus. The book of Hebrews tell us that faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen. So even in the worst of curcumstances things may not be as they seem in Jesus name.
